Evening by the Fire at Treasure Lake

A real wood fire has a way of slowing everything down. Once evening settled over Treasure Lake, we got the fireplace going at the cabin, sat back, and just watched it burn.

The night got even better when my sister Corilee and Grant joined us. Katy, Ollie, Corilee, Grant, and I all gathered around the fire, catching up and listening to the logs crackle and pop. No schedule and nowhere to be.

I took a couple of short clips of the flames so you can pull up a chair and sit by the fire with us for a minute. Turn the sound up.

Some of the best moments of a trip are the quiet ones. A warm fire, good people, and a lake outside the window. We will be thinking about this evening for a long time.
